Time and Calendar Settings

The Calendar is the heart of the Fresha system, and we've made it simple to change the view of the Calendar to match your preferences. These changes can be made at any time by heading to Setup > Account Settings


There are four parts you can tweak in your Time and Calendar Settings.

1. Time Zone allows for online bookings and client notifications to be created at the correct time of day so it's important to select the closest example city that reflects the same time zone as you. 

2. Time format displays the hours along the left-hand side of the calendar to reflect your preferred format, whether it's in 12 hours format (10:00pm) often preferred by the Americas or in 24 hours format (22:00pm) which is often the preference for Europe.

3. The Week Start Date allows you to choose the first day of the week. Whichever day you select (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) will be the first day displayed on the left-hand side of your calendar, so you can start each week on a working day rather than a day off. 

4. Appointment Color source allows you to choose how appointment colors are displayed on your calendar. The most popular format is Color by Service Group so this is the automatic default. Other options include Color by Staff Member and Color by status. For more information, refer to our Change Appointment Statuses & Colors article.

NOTE: To save any unnecessary scrolling on the calendar, you'll find a red line that always indicates "now". Anytime you refresh the page, you'll find the red line appears in the middle of the screen.
