How do I cancel an appointment?

Whether a client is looking to cancel an appointment, or you've created one by accident, it's super easy to cancel your appointments and track how often this is happening.

Cancel an appointment

There are 2 ways you can cancel an appointment:

  1. Go to Calendar and click on the appointment you want to remove.
  2. Click on More Options and select Cancel.
  3. To help track your cancellations, choose a Cancellation reason from the dropdown.
  4. Click Cancel appointment.

Alternatively, you can do the following:

  1. Go to Sales and select Appointments.
  2. Choose which appointment you want to cancel. Use the search bar to find a specific client or reference number.
  3. Click on More Options and select Cancel.
  4. To help track your cancellations, choose a Cancellation reason from the dropdown.
  5. Click Cancel appointment.

PRO TIP: If the client has changed their mind or you cancelled an appointment accidentally, simply click on the cancelled appointment, select More Options and click Rebook. You'll then be given the option to select a slot on the calendar.

NOTE: If the client cancels an appointment that has booked online, the appointment will be removed from your calendar automatically.

Track your cancelled appointments

No appointments will ever be permanently removed from your Fresha account. All appointments, including the ones that have been cancelled, can be tracked. This is to make sure that you have full visibility of your calendar activity and can keep an eye on appointments that may have been cancelled incorrectly.
