Fresha card terminals overview
Fresha card terminals are a quick and easy payment method which allows you to accept in-store payments from clients who can choose to pay in a range of ways. These portable devices are fully integrated with your business account, making checking out a streamlined process.
For easy charging, you can connect your card terminal to a dock station which connects using Bluetooth. This is only available on Fresha's V400m card terminal models.
Getting started
You’ll need to order a dock station from our team and ensure you’re using the correct card terminal model (V400m) to support this accessory.
How to connect the card terminal to a Bluetooth dock station

Connect the dock to the internet via an ethernet cable.

Plug in the power cable to turn the dock ON.

Wait for the white light on the left-hand side of the dock to stop flashing.

Press the button at the bottom right of the dock. A blue light should start flashing underneath the white light.

Go to Network and select Bluetooth.

Turn ON the Bluetooth toggle switch and wait for the page to load.

Press Tap to Pair and wait for the terminal to scan for devices.

Select V400m.

The cloud and Bluetooth icon should now appear next to the battery icon in the top right of the terminal screen which indicates that the terminal and the dock are connected via Bluetooth.

Is using a Bluetooth connection the same as a WiFi connection on a card terminal?
A Bluetooth connection is not the same as a WiFi connection. Only the V400m card terminal can connect to an Ethernet LAN when connected to a Bluetooth dock station which is connected. We recommend connecting to WiFi however if this isn’t available, you can use a mobile phone hotspot.
Can you connect the terminal to a mobile phone via Bluetooth?
You cannot connect a card terminal to a mobile phone via Bluetooth. The V400 card terminal can connect to a Bluetooth dock station that is connected to an Ethernet LAN.
