Checkout multiple appointments at once

Streamline checkouts by allowing clients to pay for multiple appointments at once, including appointments for friends and family.

Getting started

You can use multiple appointment checkout with any payment method, but we recommend enabling payment processing for added client payment options.

Checkout multiple appointments from a new sale

  1. Open your Calendar
  2. Click Add and select Sale.
  3. From your cart, select Appointments.
  4. Apply the date range filter to view a list of past, present or future appointments.
  5. Select all the appointments you want to include in the cart for a combined checkout.
  6. Click Continue to payment and add a Tip if needed. 
  7. Choose a payment method and click Charge to complete the checkout.
  8. An invoice with the Sale details will be generated under the client whose initial appointment was selected.

Checkout multiple appointments from a single appointment

  1. Open your Calendar
  2. Click on an appointment and select Checkout.
  3. Under the item list in your cart, click Add to cart and select Appointments.
  4. Apply the date range filter to view a list of past, present or future appointments.
  5. Select all the appointments you want to include in the cart for a combined checkout.
  6. Click Continue to payment and add a Tip if needed. 
  7. Choose a payment method and click Charge to complete the checkout.
  8. An invoice with the Sale details will be generated under the client whose initial appointment was selected.

NOTE:

  • You can check out separate appointments that weren't booked together as a group. These don't need to be for the same client. 
  • When checking out multiple appointments together, you won't have the option to rebook the appointment.

TOP TIP: To remove an appointment from your cart, click on the appointment and select Remove.

FAQs

Q. Can clients pay for appointments that aren’t theirs?

Yes, when selecting multiple appointments to checkout, you’re able to select appointments belonging to any client. This allows your clients to pay for their friends, family, and own appointments in one transaction. 


Q. When paying for multiple appointments together, can the paying client access consultation forms from other clients?

No, client consultation forms are not visible at the point of sale or during checkout and so these will not be visible to the paying client. All client consultation forms will only be visible to you and the client the appointment belongs to. 


Q. Will the clients for each appointment receive a thank you notification or will this only be sent to the client who paid for the multiple appointments? 

When multiple appointments are checked out together, the automated thank you message will be sent as follows:  

  • If the client who paid is the same client who booked and received the appointments, they will be sent an automated thank you message for every appointment, including the option to leave a tip and review
  • If the client who paid is different to the client who booked and received the appointment, the client who received the appointment will be sent an automated thank you message which includes the option to leave a review, providing they have a registered email address and Fresha account.

Q. Will the Marketplace New Client Fee still apply when multiple new client appointments are checked out together?  

Yes, checking out multiple appointments together won’t affect the Marketplace New Client Fee. This fee will still apply to any first-time appointments that have been booked by new clients online via the Fresha Marketplace. 


Q. Are there any fees associated when checking out multiple appointments at once?

Like all payments made through Fresha, a standard payment processing fee will be applied to the total combined cost of multiple appointments. There are no extra fees for this feature. For details on Fresha's paid features and associated fees, check out our website.
