Client insights report

Discover how to utilize the Client insights report to effectively manage your customer database.

Client insights report explained

The Client Insights report will provide high-level information about your customers, it can be used to answer client-specific questions like:

  • When was the last appointment for customers who aren’t rebooked? - Check the Last appt. column for that customer.
  • How many clients are not rebooked from last month's cohort? - Change the date range filter to last month, and filter by Rebooked False.

Using the Client insights report

To effectively utilize the Client insights report, select your desired date range, and filter your report to focus on the data you wish to analyze.

Date range

Select a date range using the calendar drop-down menu to view data within a specific time frame. The date range filter is based on the day the client was added to your account took place, and includes the start and end date of the selected date range.

Filter options

Utilize the filters drop-down menu to refine the data by:

  • Rebooked - Clients that have an appointment scheduled in the future (the appointment can be scheduled within the selected date range or outside of this period).
  • Client gender - The gender specified in the client's profile.
  • Location - This is the location where the customer had their last appointment (not including cancelled or no show appointments).

Understanding the Client insights data fields

When utilizing the Client insights report, a selection of the below fields will become available for you to analyze your data.

  • Client - Name of the client (click on this to open the client's profile).
  • Gender - The gender specified in the client's profile.
  • Age - The age specified in the client's profile.
  • Mobile number - The mobile number specified in the client's profile.
  • Email - The email address specified in the client's profile.
  • Added on - The date the client was added to your Fresha account.
  • First appt. - The client's first appointment (not including cancelled or no show appointments).
  • Last appt. - The client's last appointment (not including cancelled or no show appointments).
  • Rebooked - Clients that have an appointment scheduled in the future (the appointment can be scheduled within the selected date range or outside of this period).
  • Total appts. - Total number of appointments scheduled for the client (this also includes future bookings and does not include cancelled or no show appointments).
  • Total sales - The value of all scheduled appointments (this only includes services and does not include cancelled or no show appointments).
  • Reviews - The average review rating and number of reviews the client left.
  • Referral source - The channel the customer discovered the business(e.g. Fresha Marketplace, Book Now Link, Walk-In) or any field created under the Referral Sources page.
  • Avg. months between appts. - The average number of months between the client appointments.
  • Avg. weeks between appts. - The average number of weeks between the client appointments.
  • Avg. days between appts. - The average number of days between the client appointments.

NOTE: All of the customers listed under the Client list will appear in the Client insights report.

TOP TIP: If you want to look for a specific customer and build segments or groups of customers based on certain behaviours, it’s best to use the Client list.
