Your metrics are the window to every aspect of your business, so we've made sure your business analysis is easier than ever! Shedul's state-of-the-art Dashboard gives you a top-level review of your business's performance. Your Dashboard is always up-to-date and LIVE, without requiring a refresh from you, giving you access to your latest metrics at your fingertips at any time!
Access your Analytics Dashboard from the left-hand Navigation Menu. You'll see your live analytics dashboard, highlighting your business's key metrics.
In the top left corner, you'll find filters to look at metrics for specific staff members. In the top right corner, you'll see a date slider, allowing you to toggle between which day, month, or year you want to view your metrics. Note that if you have multiple locations set up, you'll be able to track metrics for each location individually as well.
Once you've set up the view, you'll notice boxes showing:
- Total Appointments
- Online Appointments
- Total Sales
- Average Sale
- Client Retention (Sales)
This is the summary of all appointments that were scheduled during the time period. This includes all appointment statuses, including canceled and no-show appointments.
This shows all appointments that were scheduled during this time period that were booked online (including from our marketplace, Fresha), and the percent of your total appointments that were booked online. This allows you to compare the performance of online bookings vs. overall bookings.
This tells you what proportion of your time is spent on revenue-generating activities (servicing clients) vs. idle time. For example, if you're open 10 hours per day, and spend 5 hours with clients, your occupancy rate will be 50%. This calculation includes service "block time", but excludes personal block time. It also excludes processing time, canceled appointments, and no show appointments.
This is calculated by the total number of invoices raised for the given period, including paid, part-paid and unpaid invoices. If you have an appointment on January 1, but you don't create an invoice until January 2, the sale will register on January 2. The Total Sales box is further broken down into Services and Product sales (the Total Sales metric includes voucher redemptions on products and services, but not voucher sales - see How Vouchers Show Up in Reports for more information).
The average value of each of your sales. This box also tells you the total number of sales generated during the period (i.e. the number of invoices raised), and comparison of average sales for products and services.
Client Retention (Sales)
The percentage of your sales generated during the period that came from returning clients. A "new" client is considered a Walk-In or a client who has never raised a sale (invoice) before. Many businesses rely on repeat / loyal customers to drive the majority of their sales.
TIP: Your Sales, Average Sales, and Client Retention metrics will always show as 0 if you don't check out appointments. You can learn more about Raising an Invoice in order to take advantage of our Analytics Dashboard and our Sales Reports.
