It’s really important to keep your client list up-to-date as you want to make sure they receive their booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and any marketing campaigns that are designed to retain and reward clients with personalised offers and one-off promotions.
Edit your client details
You can edit your clients' details at any time in a few quick steps.
- Go to your Client list and select the client you’re looking to edit.
- Click the three dots and select Edit details.
- You can change the client’s basic info, notes, additional information, address, and notification preferences.
- Use the toggle to enable Upfront payments and card capture to help avoid no-shows.
- Click Save.
NOTE:
- Make sure the blue tick
is selected to display client notes on all bookings.
- Once you’ve clicked Save, you’ll be unable to revert back and undo these changes but you can re-edit them.

Manage your marketplace clients
A Marketplace client is a client who has discovered and booked with you through the Fresha Marketplace. These clients have full control over their profile information however, you can still apply your preferred details for them and edit information at any time.
Update and edit Marketplace client information
- Go to your Client list and select the client you’re looking to edit.
- Click the three dots and select Edit details.
- You can change the client’s basic info, notes, additional information, address, and notification preferences.
- You'll notice the name now has a star to indicate that these are not the original Fresha Profile contact details.
- Click Save.
Restore original contact details for Marketplace clients
- Go to your Client list and select the client whose details you wish to restore.
- Click the three dots and select Edit details.
- You will see the client's contact card labelled FRESHA ACCOUNT.
- Click Restore original details.
- Click Yes, restore to confirm.
NOTE: Updating a client’s contact details will only update your records and not the client's information on their Fresha account.
Clients update their details
If your client would like to update their details, they’ll need to do the following:
- Go to Fresha (or the Fresha app) and Log in.
- Click the avatar icon and Settings.
- Once selected, the client can make changes to their name, email, mobile and profile picture.
- Save changes.
NOTE: Any updates made by the client to their Fresha profile will automatically be reflected in the client section unless you have applied your preferred contact details.
PRO TIP: Clients will find their avatar by clicking the when editing their Fresha profile via the app or in the top right-hand corner when using a browser.
