Manage your business details

Learn how to efficiently manage your business details on Fresha, including business name, address, contact details, time zone, and currency.

In this guide, we'll cover: 

Getting started

To update your business details, you’ll need to be the current account owner which gives you full permission, including the authority to change contact details.

Business name

To update the name of your business:

  1. Head to Business details from your Business settings.
  2. Under Business info, enter the Business name you wish to display on your Fresha profile, sales invoices, and client messages.
  3. Click Save to confirm the changes.

NOTE: Your Business Name and Location Name appear on invoices. If you have multiple locations with different names, update each one in Business settings under Locations.

Country and currency

Your business's Country and Currency will show under your Business info. This is selected at the time your account is created and cannot be changed. To change the Country and Currency for your account, you must

  1. Export your clients and products from your current account to transfer these to your new account. 
  2. Delete your Fresha account. 
  3. Create a new Fresha account and select the correct Country and Currency when initially signing up and setting up your password. 

TOP TIP: When creating a new account for a different currency or country, remember that you cannot merge accounts. Unlist the old account from the Fresha Marketplace, export client and product data, and import it into the new account.

Address and contact details

To update your location address: 

  1. Head to Locations under Business settings.
  2. Select the location you wish to update.
  3. Under Location, click edit and update the address as needed.
  4. Click Save to apply changes.

Contact details

To update your account contact details:

  1. Click on your avatar icon and select Settings.
  2. Select Edit under Contact details.
  3. Enter your mobile number and email address. The mobile country code is auto-filled based on your business’s registered country. Remove the first 0 when entering your contact number.
  4. Click Save to update your details.

Time zone and format

To set your time zone and format:

  1. Head to Business details from your Business settings.
  2. Under Time and calendar settings, choose the relevant Time zone for your business.
  3. Select the Time format you prefer, either 12-hour or 24-hour.
  4. Under Week start choose the day of the week you want to start your business calendar with.
  5. Select the Appointment color source for how you want to see your calendar.
  6. Click Save to confirm your choices.

FAQs

Q. Can I edit my business's location address for online bookings?

Yes, changing your business location under Locations will auto-update your location details on the Fresha Marketplace too. 


Q. Is it possible to merge two Fresha accounts together? 

No, accounts cannot be merged. If you're listed on the Fresha Marketplace, first unlist your profile and transfer the necessary data to one of the accounts before deleting the other.


Q. What should I do if I don't want to accept online bookings? 

If you’re going on a long period of leave and cannot accept online bookings, we recommend unlisting your online profile from the Fresha Marketplace. Head to Online profile, select Options and Unlist Profile.


Q. How can I change the country of my Fresha account?

Fresha is designed to handle only one country for each account, which is determined at the time of your account creation and cannot be changed afterwards. If you have moved to a different location, you'll need to create a new Fresha account with the new country and its associated currency, and transfer your client list and products from the old account to the new one.

Fresha is designed to handle only one currency for each account, which is determined at the time of your account creation and cannot be changed afterwards. If you need to change the currency of your Fresha account, you'll need to create a new Fresha account with the new currency and its associated country, and transfer your client list and products from the old account to the new one.


Q. Can I have multiple currencies and time zones under one account?

Currently Fresha does not support multiple currencies and time zones under the same account. Fresha is designed to handle only one currency and one time zone for each account. The selected currency and time zone will apply across all each locations within that account. If your business operates in various time zones or deal with different currencies, we recommend creating individual accounts for each location.
