How does Reserve with Google work?

Reserve with Google allows your business to appear as a result on Google search and Google Maps, with booking buttons for clients to reserve appointments with you directly. Reserve with Google is fully integrated with Fresha, and as an official scheduling provider, any booking made through Google will automatically appear in your calendar. There are no hidden fees if a client books through Reserve with Google - you’ll only be charged the usual flat rate Fresha Plus fee that is charged for any online bookings.

Appearing on Google search results means your business is more likely to get discovered by clients looking to book appointments for services in your area. Around 80% of all new clients will use Google to search for a business or service, and with over 600 million online searches for hair and beauty salons made each month using Google worldwide, making sure your business and services stand out from the competition has never been more important.

NOTE: Reserve with Google is only available to Partners who have Fresha Plus enabled.

To set up Reserve with Google for your business: 

  1. Add your business to Google by clicking here.
  2. Follow the steps on Google to publish your listing. Google has created an easy step-by-step guide for you to follow.
  3. Make sure your location address on Fresha matches your Google My Business account.
  4. Your booking button will be automatically linked to your Google My Business profile. Clients can begin booking appointments with you through Google search results and Google Maps.

Once your business has been listed with Google My Business and a potential client searches for services in your area, the search results will display a booking button alongside your business details, ratings, and map directions.

Any changes made to your service prices on your Fresha account may take up to 24 hours to reflect on Google.

NOTE: Any appointments booked through Google will display as Booked on Google on the View Appointment screen under Appointment History. You can also see which appointments have been booked through Google in the Sales by channel report in Analytics.

PRO TIP: Clients aren’t required to accept your no-show policy when booking through Reserve with Google, but they will receive an email asking them to Confirm with card and accept your no-show policy.
