There are certain documents that are needed for us to be able to verify your account information:
- Proof of identity - which can be a valid driver’s license, ID card, or passport.
- Proof of banking details - a full-page, recent bank account statement that shows your bank logo, full bank account number, and the bank account holder name. We ask for a full-page copy of your account statement for verification purposes and because some banks put the account numbers at the bottom of their statements.
If you're based in the US or Canada and would prefer to keep your bank statement offline, we can also verify your account using a clear copy of a void check or a signed bank letter. Please make sure the bank logo, full bank account number, and complete bank account holder details are visible when uploading the document to your Fresha account.
Uploading these documents through our system is part of a standard verification procedure that we’re required to do in order to comply with international Payment Processing laws and regulations. Your data is your data (not ours) and will not be shared with anyone or any third parties.
PRO TIP: Have you set up a new account and don’t have a bank statement yet? Don’t worry - as long as the document or screenshot you upload is clearly showing the bank logo, full bank account number, and complete bank account holder details, the team should be able to verify your banking details.
NOTE: If you don’t receive paper statements via post, all you need to do is download an e-statement from your online or mobile banking and upload it to the system. Visit your bank's website to find out more.
