Getting started
To update closed periods, make sure you've taken the following steps first:
- Update your team's scheduled shifts and availability to reflect the changes in business opening hours.
- If you're a team member, you'll need to request permission to access workspace settings.
Adding or updating closed periods
Creating closed periods is handy for marking special closures, like holidays or renovations, especially if you have enabled online bookings for our business.
To add business closed periods:
- Open Workspace settings, select Scheduling then Closed periods.
- Click Add.
- Use the dropdowns to set a start and an end date for your business closure.
- Add a Description explaining the reason for the closure. For example, Public holidays or Renovations.
- If the closure applies to multiple locations, check the box next to the relevant ones
- Click Add.
Managing closed periods
You can update and manage closed periods for your business at any time.
Edit closed periods
To edit closed periods:
- Open Workspace settings, select Scheduling then Closed periods.
- On the relevant period, click Actions and select Edit.
- Change the closed period details as needed.
- Click Save.
Delete closed periods
To delete closed periods:
- Open Workspace settings, select Scheduling then Closed periods.
- On the relevant period, click Actions and select Delete.
- Select Delete to reconfirm you want to proceed.

Your calendar will automatically update to block out any availability online and in-store for your business closed period, making sure that appointments cannot be booked during this time.
