Quick-scan mode allows you to quickly scan a product's barcode and add one stock unit for each scan made. By using quick-scan mode, you can scan a single product multiple times to increase the count or scan every product as you get to it to increase its count when it’s in front of you.
If you would like to scan the barcode to search for the product and manually enter the product count after, disable the quick-scan mode toggle.
To use quick-scan counting, follow these simple steps:
- When you go to complete a stocktake, make sure the quick-scan counting toggle
has been enabled.
- Choose the product you want to add to your stocktake.
- Scan the barcode back-to-back to automatically record one of each.
- Once you’ve finished scanning and recording the amount for that product, click out of the counted column and move on to the next product.
