Add appointments to your calendar as a client

Adding a booking to a client’s calendar once confirmed is a great way to help clients manage their appointments and avoid missing their bookings.

In this guide, we'll cover: 

Getting started

Your client will need to make a booking through Fresha before adding this to their preferred calendar via the Fresha app, confirmation email, or SMS confirmation. The calendar event will contain the client’s appointment details, including the appointment name, date, time, and location.

Add appointments from the Fresha booking app

  1. As a client, open the Fresha booking app.
  2. Tap on the calendar icon on the main navigation menu to access Appointments.
  3. Select an Upcoming appointment and tap Add to calendar.
  4. Follow the below steps for your preferred calendar: 
       
    Google Calendar - 

    Tap on the Google calendar option and Save the appointment in your Google calendar app.

    Apple Calendar - Tap on the Other calendar option to open the event details in Safari. Select Add To Calendar, choose the calendar you wish to add the appointment event to, and tap Done.
    Other Calendars -

    Tap on the Other calendar option. 

    If you're using an Android device, a calendar file will automatically download. Tap on the file and select your preferred calendar software to add the appointment event.

    If you're using an Apple device, select the share icon and select your preferred calendar software to add the appointment event.

Add appointments from the confirmation email

  1. Open the appointment confirmation email.
  2. Select Manage appointment to be redirected to the Fresha app or web browser.
  3. Tap Add to calendar and follow the below steps for your preferred calendar: 
       
    Google Calendar - 

    Tap on the Google calendar option and Save the appointment in your Google calendar app.

    Apple Calendar - Tap on the Other calendar option to open the event details in Safari. Select Add To Calendar, choose the calendar you wish to add the appointment event to, and tap Done.
    Other Calendars -

    Tap on the Other calendar option. 

    If you're using an Android device, a calendar file will automatically download. Tap on the file and select your preferred calendar software to add the appointment event.

    If you're using an Apple device, select the share icon and select your preferred calendar software to add the appointment event.

NOTE: If you're using a web browser, the appointment will be saved as a file to your device. Open and save the appointment to your preferred calendar.

Add appointments from the confirmation SMS

  1. From the confirmation SMS, click on the Manage booking link
  2. You'll be redirected to the Fresha app where you can tap Add to calendar.
  3. Follow the below steps for your preferred calendar: 
       
    Google Calendar - 

    Tap on the Google calendar option and Save the appointment in your Google calendar app.

    Apple Calendar - Tap on the Other calendar option to open the event details in Safari. Select Add To Calendar, choose the calendar you wish to add the appointment event to, and tap Done.
    Other Calendars -

    Tap on the Other calendar option. 

    If you're using an Android device, a calendar file will automatically download. Tap on the file and select your preferred calendar software to add the appointment event.

    If you're using an Apple device, select the share icon and select your preferred calendar software to add the appointment event.

NOTE: If a client reschedules an appointment, they can add the rescheduled appointment as a new calendar event. Clients will need to make sure they delete the previous calendar event to avoid confusion.

TOP TIP: Clients can access the address details for their appointment from their confirmation email, appointment details in the app, or from the event in their calendar. Simply click on the link and it will open the maps application on their device.
