Sending a text message blast campaign

Text message blast campaigns are a great way to reach a large audience quickly. With Fresha’s blast text message functionality you’re able to easily create a campaign, add an appropriate link and send it to your desired audience, all within minutes.

Send a text blast campaign

Quick update

  1. Go to Marketing and select Blast campaigns
  2. Click New message and select Text message as the channel.
  3. Select Quick update as your message type.
  4. Personalise your message and add a link to direct your clients to the services, memberships or vouchers you'd like to promote (to view your click rates and use our retargeting feature, you must use either a Fresha link or Email campaign link type).
  5. Choose a campaign audience by sending your message to All clients or filtered Client groups. 
  6. Click Next step and choose a payment method.
  7. Review the campaign cost and click Send now.

Special offer

  1. Go to Marketing and select Blast campaigns
  2. Click New message and select Text message as the channel.
  3. Select Special offer as your message type.
  4. Personalise your message and configure the deal associated with your campaign. The deal will be applied individually to each applicable service booked.  
  5. Choose a campaign audience by sending your message to All clients or filtered Client groups. 
  6. Click Next step and choose a payment method.
  7. Review the campaign cost and click Send now.

Promote voucher

  1. Go to  Marketing and select Blast campaigns
  2. Click New message and select Text message as the channel.
  3. Select Voucher as your message type (or head to Vouchers and select the voucher you'd like to promote).
  4. Personalise your message and select whether you want to send a like to All vouchers or to a Single voucher.
  5. If you’ve selected Single voucher, click Edit under Select Voucher and use the search bar to decide which voucher you’d like to promote.
  6. Choose a campaign audience by sending your message to All clients or filtered Client groups. 
  7. Click Next step and choose a payment method.
  8. Review the campaign cost and click Send now.

Before your blast campaign is sent out to clients, it will undergo a brief review period where we'll ensure it adheres to our guidelines and policies. Once approved, your campaign will be sent out as scheduled. 

NOTE:

  • Text message blast campaigns are no-reply messages so you will not receive a response from the client.

  • The cost of your blast campaign is based on the number of clients your message is sent to and the length of your message. Always check the number of messages prior to sending.

Filter your client groups

Use the advanced filters within your client groups to target a specific audience and improve the performance of your blast campaigns.

  1. When selecting the audience for your blast campaign, click Client groups.
  2. Select a Client group and click Modify. Depending on the client group selected, you can change default values to target the relevant audience.
  3. Modify your client groups further using the following advanced filters:
Filter by service -

Include clients based on the services they have booked with you. Use the drop-down menu to include Any service or choose the relevant services for your audience.

 

Filter by location -

Include clients based on the services they have booked with you. Use the drop-down menu to include Any service or choose the relevant services for your audience.

 

Filter by team members -

Include clients who have previously booked a service with specific team members. Use the drop-down menu to choose Any team member or Selected team members. For selected team members, click Choose team members, check the box next to the relevant team members and click Save.

 

Include clients with upcoming appointments -

We’ll automatically exclude clients who have upcoming appointments. To include them within your client group, check the box and click Save.
