Customize SMS 'from' Number

Show the business name / Show business real number (for replies)

When customer gets the message "SMS", its better to see it from the business name instead of an international number. All the promotional SMSs we get are showing the business name as a sender not a number .. would love to have my SMSs look the same.

    Thanks for your feedback! We think this is a great idea and have shared your feedback with our development team. This isn’t something we’re currently working on, but we’ll keep voting open in case there are other partners that would like to see this feature built in the future.

    Texts reminders currently have the business name attached, and "NO Reply" added at the end.

    1. If the solution is to remain with an international number and just change the name that shows up then, it would make sense to automatically add "DO NOT REPLY" into the SMS so no characters are taken away on the reminder to add. 
    2. Any response to the number should have an auto-reply saying the number is not monitored for responses and should contact the salon directly

    As per the idea above,  maybe provide an option to send via the company number so that when people respond.  This is currently possible with the email notifications but not the SMS.  BTW how do I change which email is used when I hit reply with the notifications?

  • Disregard the question on "BTW how do I change which email is used when I hit reply with the notifications?"  Found it by setting the location contact email.

    Maybe (if possible) use the same concept with the email in which "Replies to client SMS appointment notifications will go to this number"

  • I would pay for it too. Right now every time an SMS goes out it's a random number - different each time - so it can't even be saved under contacts so the clients can easily see at a glance that it's a legitimate message.

  • We definitely need to be able to make our texts tailored to the times. We need to keep clients informed of the new salon policies dealing with covid, Also the No Show message is very abrupt, we don't want our clients to feel insulted.

  • we have had clients try to text changes to their appointment by replying to these messages which we obviously don't get.
