Use Own Voucher Codes
When a voucher is bought I would like to be able to add my own voucher number which can be searched for when it is redeemed. I use cards with barcodes for gift vouchers and currently have to have an excel document showing my barcoded voucher with the matching Fresha generated code.

To keep things simple, Fresha issues vouchers codes for you so there's no need to import and cross-reference codes. Fresha will allow you to sell, track and redeem vouchers all in once place. Check out our Vouchers FAQ.
To redeem vouchers from other systems, go to "Setup">"Payment Types" to create a payment type called "Old Vouchers" which can be allocated during check-out to help with differentiation in reports.
I would also like to be able to use my own code as my vouchers are printed with a code and I would like to allocate this code to the voucher sale. I don't want to have to write the code onto my voucher,
This is something I would like to be able to do also, as my vouchers come with a barcode on them so that we can scan them, they are like a credit card so its not really possible to write on them. It would be great to be able to choose which we prefer, whether to use the automatically generated code or to scan the barcode. I do hope this is something you will implement.
I would also like to generate my own voucher codes, that relate to my business, initials and numbers, simpler and shorter than the automatic schedule ones generated. Thanks, Serena @Serenessense.
Like all comments above, I find it difficult for historical sales of gift certificates. I realize that Fresha has created codes on our behalf, and as convenient as that is for future sales, we have 1000 pre-existing certificates issued out numerically that we can't redeem without reentering every transaction. Please consider allowing the system to allow for a notation line or something. Great product, and wonderful usability regardless!

Please can the option to add our own voucher numbers be added. Other systems I've used give the option of auto numbers or input your own. As others have said I will now have to run an additional spreadsheet for vouchers.
Not only are my Vouchers numbered they are sold from my location when I'm not there so can't be issued with a Fresha auto number.
This really needs to be an option - numerous other software packages have this facility.
Can you advise when this will be available to enable us to select our own reference numbers?
Please consider this idea. I use physical gift cards with a barcode on them and it would so much simple if we could just input our own barcode number.
