Need Feature Back To Turn On & Off Certain Client Notifications
Currently after the Jan 2020 update salons can't turn off and on certain notifications for clients now. Prior to update we could. All are enable or disabled. This can cause problems.
For example, I book a client for a color and then notice a few days later I forgot to add the style. The client will get a notification when I change it. The client might panic or get confused.
Another example, a client is sitting in the chair and wants an add on service. Client will get a text/email while sitting in the chair for the add on service when they already know its added. Client will get annoyed.
I'll share one more example. I have a client at the salon booking out for the whole year all her appointments. She then realizes she has to change 3 appointments. She will get a ton of notifications while standing there about changes and confirmations. So bc it can't be turned off her phone and email will blow up with notifications. See how this can be annoying? Especially if they have text and email enabled on their profile.
Also currently there is no way to adjust text on what the cancellation policy is unless you enable the online booking app. Which some salons don't want online booking for various reasons.
My clients only want confirmation and appointment reminders. So I am in a pickle on how I am going to explain this. They already yelled at me to take off some notifications last year. I'm going to hear it again.(
Please reconsider enabling the ability to turn off and on some notifications. Thank you.
