Be able to edit reminder text
I am really disappointed that my reminder SMS texts were changed and I am not able to edit/add text like i was before,
I always had my phone number in it so people were able to contact me immediately if they were lost or needed something.
I know i can do it in the email one but why not the text one?? They should be the same

Hey folks,
SMS notifications are now standardized and cannot be edited.
We found most partners were using their custom text to give clients information that we now provide automatically: links to directions, information about cancellations etc. Now, this info is part of our templates or covered by other functionality, such as No-Show Protection. 🙌
It’s far easier to enable the No-Show Protection than to describe a cancellation policy you can’t enforce in a custom text field that clients may not even read.
Please note, you can still edit email notifications using the 'Important Info' box under Client Messages>>Settings. 😉
You aren't the only one. Seems like no one is listening.
SAME! why would they change this ! i really need to add my own text in my sms reminder message ! how can we do this now and why was this changed ?????????
My phone number and business address is gone from the text reminder messages....so disappointing!!
Totally agree. The new changes to sms are terrible they seem to think it’s ok because you can put info in an email but let’s face it, no one checks email anymore and my older clientele aren’t going to click on any links either. The sms doesn’t even include location or staff for those of us with multiple of both! Absolutely need to include which location, staff, and possibly phone numbers as my 2 locations have different phone numbers. I’m not going to hold my breath though because I’ve been waiting 4 years for calendar sync!
Need to be able to edit the text in messages.
bring back the old style please!!! It's not helpful at all!
Is anyone able to change what there message to clients say ? I cant even work it out now
With the current situation we need to be able to change the text message to warn patients of changes in how they enter our building when they arrive (we are medical and allowed to be working) - this would have been quickest and easiest way for us but you've taken it away!!! Please bring it back!
Is there any way that this can be changed ASAP due to the current COVID-19 restrictions? One of the requirements of the Australian Government is to remind clients of restrictions and to cancel or reschedule if they are unwell. It's now in their reminder email, but some clients don't get the emails because it goes to their Facebook email address, not their everyday one.
It seems like the more they add paid options to Fresha, the more they take away or restrict the free ones. This is very important to me, I dont want to use the text they have put in SMS reminders, it says nothing of what I need to say especially in Covid-19 times. It even cuts my business name in half so it doesnt make sense!
YES! We need to be able to personalize again. I would like to remind my clients to wear a mask, and also add my phone number. Please change this!
There should be a way to customize the confirmation text. Everything is changing now and this would help keep clients informed.
I cannot believe we can't customize our SMS reminders. My clients are not reading the information included in the email and are getting lost upon arrival. I even had a client texting a number that wasn't me accusing me of no showing her while she was still sitting in the parking lot!! I need to instruct them where to enter the building, and to put on a mask. It should also include my phone number so they can call me. An immediate FIX is required for this problem!
Another disappointed customer here with the removal of text message customization. Why did you remove a feature that was working fine? Why did you think that letting business owners customize their messages to their clients was a bad idea?
I have seen hundreds of complaints about this topic and not a single response from Fresha. Very disappointing.
