Z Out, or close out end of day
How about the ability to open/close out day with beginning drawer count and ending count? This way we have the ability to see if we are short in our till at the end of the day.

We love all your ideas and are planning to add an official feature for an end of day report. In the meantime, you can go to Sales>>Daily Sales and see all the payment types you've taken in for the day. This way, you know how much excess cash to remove from the till to balance your opening and closing totals ❤️

YES PLEASE !!!! A daily close out report would be super beneficial with a break down of services and payment methods
End of day report is very important, its one click process that tell us that all invoices made in the day has been accounted for and checked with accounting books. and you may also add petty cash for next morning left in the drawer for exchange etc.
Yes, we have multiple ppl using this software and need a way to balance our till at the end of the day. What are those of you doing that are currently using this?
This would be great as not all staff members have access to reports so if there was a way to end the day with total payment types it would make cashing up so much easier.

So the 1st image would be similar to the report currently on Fresha which is great, but adding something like the 2nd image which is accessed when you select the "start end of day process" link would be amazing as it makes it easier to find any discrepancies that have occurred throughout the day or any missing transactions etc.
In this system you enter the actual amounts and any reasons why there was a discrepancy and once it is all entered in you select "close day" - This then automatically sends an end of day report to a specific email e.g. owner/salon etc. which i can't say how much i rely on for its info!
The end of day summary email comes in as the 3rd image... (The daily summary report through the system is much more detailed and something i think Fresha really needs but that needs its own thread!)

Good idea Jannelle Taylor, and I like that your have totals with and without sales tax. I would just add a line or column for the sales tax collected total.
