Staff Lock Out

Hi. Instead of giving each staff permission levels and a password that they can log into on any computer the administrator/owner logs into the salon computer  creates  a global staff lock out in security settings. So the password that the staff is given not only limits there access to reports and other features but they can only use it on the computer you give access to. I am uneasy with staff been able to access any level of the salon system from anywhere but in the salon.

  • You can just lower their permission levels to choose what they are able to do

    It’s actually nice to have the individual logins. For example if something gets canceled that wasn’t meant to you can tell who canceled it and when

  • For myself and a group of salon owners that had lunch last week, we were discussing this and  that's the one feature that is stopping us. Apart from when you do not have a receptionist multiple logins on the salon computer on the receptionist desk is not practical, we would never want our staff accessing the system, no matter how limited their permission levels are. We may be looking at it to negatively but everyone i have spoken to agrees that over the years we have all had a conniving staff member that has done damage to our business and we wouldn't even want them to be able to look at the calendar

  • We need to create more options to select reports permission levels. There are only a few reports Id like staff to have access to, but they are grouped in too large a group.

  • It would be better to be able to select which reports are accessible at different levels. For instance,  I would like the stylists or receptionists to be able to check the tip totals for the day to be paid out. But they don't need to be able to see EVERY financial & sales report there is. Or other staff commissions, when they are on different levels, same goes for some client info. The only option is all or none, Not good.
