Edit prices on appointments not just invoices

It would be great if you could edit the prices for services BEFORE you create an invoice

    We'd recommend Service Menu reflects all of your pricing variations so that you can simply select the service that applies to the client :)

  • This is not reasonable.  Many salons (including the one I work at) offer on-the-spot discounts, coupons and other incentives.  Incentives and related discounts and offers can change on a monthly basis.  It doesn't seem reasonable to have to build a new service for just a month or wtv.

  • Or have the invoice that you save unpaid not be counted in the sales for that day and have it only count for sales on the day that it is actually paid(not the day it was created).

  • Why would we want to do that?  We want to issue an invoice that reflects what the client paid.  We do want to create an invoice for the client at the time of payment.  This would not be an "unpaid" invoice.

  • Because that's the only way to modify the price before the day of service.

  • @janet You can still create and apply discounts :) 

    Go to "Setup">"Discount Types" to create your ad hoc discounts that you can apply during check out. 

    You can have your Rack Rate service menu + your menu specials for longer term discounts. Then during checkout, you can apply any additional prices changes you'd like but prices changes are not applicable whilst creating the appointment.

  • I offer service specials eg: buy one get one 50% off. It would be good to be able to discount the service cost before checking the client out so they are aware of their service total before arriving. Having “pre discounts” on the service list will not work as clients would likely select the wrong service to discount and being a salon the offers so many services it would make the online booking way to overwhelming and confusing. Please consider allowing us to edit and invoice before the service is being closed. Thanks.

  • This is particularly an issue with add on the spot discounts, or tips. I have to void and create a new invoice every time clients leave a tip or get a discount.
