When adding to your product list, you can track your stock quantity by setting up low stock notifications that will let you know when it’s time to reorder. Enabling these notifications will help ensure that stock levels are maintained for your clients to buy products.

You can find these updates in your Notifications under Actions. Here you can  Manage products when you’re running low or Add stock when you’re all out, directly from the notification. When you go through to create new stock orders, we’ll automatically prefill the reorder quantity with the amount you have saved in the product details.

Set up low stock notifications and a reorder quantity

New products

1. Go to Products 
2. Click Add new product.
3. Scroll down to Stock quantity and use the toggle to enable Track stock quantity.
4. Under Current stock quantity, enter the amount of stock you currently hold.
5. Under Low stock and reordering enter the relevant values for:

Low stock level -This is the minimum amount of stock you would like to have before receiving a notification to place a new order.

Reorder quantity - This is the amount you would like to order on your next stock order.

6. Use the toggle to enable you to receive low stock notifications. 
7. Click Save to confirm your changes.

Existing products

1. Go to Products 
2. Select the product you would like to edit.
3. Click on Actions and select Edit product. 
4. Scroll down to Stock quantity and use the toggle to enable Track stock quantity.
5. Under Low stock and reordering enter the relevant values for:

Low stock level -This is the minimum amount of stock you would like to have before receiving a notification to place a new order.

Reorder quantity - This is the amount you would like to order on your next stock order.

6. Use the toggle to enable you to receive low stock notifications. include this product in your low stock notifications.
7. Click Save to confirm your changes.
