How do clients add an appointment to their calendar?

Adding a booking to a client’s calendar once confirmed is a great way to help clients manage their appointments and avoid missing their booking.

When a client makes a booking online and the appointment has been confirmed, it can be added as an event in their calendar from the Fresha app or from the confirmation email. The calendar event will contain the client’s appointment details, including the appointment name, date, time, and location.

Google calendar

There are two ways a booking can be added to a client's Google calendar:

From the Fresha app

  1. Go to their upcoming appointment
  2. Click Calendar.
  3. Select Google calendar.
  4. Napsauta Tallenna.

From the confirmation email

  1. Open the appointment confirmation email.
  2. Click Calendar to download the calendar file.
  3. Open the file & add the event to their Google calendar.

Apple calendar 

From the Fresha app

  1. Go to their upcoming appointment.
  2. Click Calendar.
  3. Select Other calendars to download the calendar file.
  4. Open the file.
  5. Click on Add to calendar on their mobile device or OK if they are on your desktop.

From the confirmation email

  1. Open the appointment confirmation email.
  2. Click Calendar to download the calendar file.
  3. Open the file.
  4. Click on Add to calendar on their mobile device or OK if they are on your desktop.

Outlook or other calendar software 

From the Fresha app

  1. Go to the upcoming appointment.
  2. Click Calendar.
  3. Select Other calendars to download the calendar file.
  4. Open the file. 
  5. Choose their preferred calendar software to add the event.

From the confirmation email

  1. Open the appointment confirmation email.
  2. Click Calendar to download the calendar file.
  3. Open the file.
  4. Choose their preferred calendar software to add the event.

NOTE: If a client reschedules an appointment, they can add the rescheduled appointment as a new calendar event. Clients will need to make sure they delete the previous calendar event to avoid confusion!

PRO TIP: Clients can access the address details for their appointment from their confirmation email, appointment details in the app, or from the event in their calendar. Simply click on the link and it will open the maps application on their device.
