Selling gift cards to clients is super quick and easy. Clients have the option to buy these in-store and online if you've set up Fresha Pay.

Sell gift cards in-store 

Sell gift cards at the checkout

Once an appointment has been completed, you can add gift cards at the checkout in just a few simple steps:

1. Go to Calendar and select the appointment you’d like to raise an invoice for.
2. Click Checkout to be redirected to New sale.
3. Click Gift cards and select the gift card you'd like to sell. Alternatively, select a Custom amount if the client would like a specific value.
4. In your cart, click on the gift card to edit the value, price and expiration date. You can also apply a discount, enter a custom gift card code, assign it to a team member or remove it from the cart. 
5. Add a tip, if the client would like to include one.
6. Click Continue to collect payment. You can accept a range of payment methods, including Send link, Card terminal, Cash, or Split payment.
7. Click Charge to complete the sale.

Sell gift cards on their own

If you have a client who wants to purchase a gift card without receiving any services, you don't need to create an appointment on your calendar. Instead, you’ll just need to create a new sale following these steps:

1. Go to New Sale, and click Gift cards.
2. Select the gift card you'd like to sell. Alternatively, select a Custom amount if the client would like a specific value.
3. In your cart, click on the gift card to edit the value, price and expiration date. You can also apply a discount, enter a custom gift card code, assign it to a team member or remove it from the cart. 
4. To assign the sale to an existing client by clicking on Walk in and selecting the relevant client before clicking Continue. 
5. Add a tip if the client would like to include one.
6. Click Continue to collect payment. You can accept a range of payment methods, including Send link, Card terminal, Cash, or Split payment.
7. Click Charge to complete the sale.

Sell gift cards online

To start selling your gift cards online, follow these simple steps:

1. Go to Business Settings.
2. Under Sales, select Gift cards.
3. Under Available for sale, choose in-store and online.
4. Click Save. 
5. The next step is to add a link to your gift cards page on your website.
