Commissions are paid on top of a team member's salary as a percentage of the revenue generated from the services they provide and the products they sell. Calculating team commissions by hand can get complicated, so setting these in advance can save you time when working out their additional pay at the end of the month.
To set up team commissions:
- Go to Business settings and select Team members.
- Click on the team member whose commission you’re looking to edit, and scroll down to Commission.
- Add the percentage commission the team member will receive for Services, Paid Plans, Products, and Voucher sales.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Once the commission levels are added, you'll need to decide whether you want commissions to be calculated on the sales value before or after discounts and taxes.
To adjust these settings:
- Go to Business settings and select Commissions under the Team section.
- Under Commissions, click next to how you’d like your team commissions to be calculated.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
To sell an item and apply commission, follow these steps:
- In the New Sale tab, select the item to wish to sell.
- Click on the item in the cart.
- Under Edit cart item, use the drop-down menu to select which team member is making the sale.
- Click Save to apply your changes, and continue the sale as usual by selecting the payment method.
NOTE: You will need to Enable team commission on each of the products and services you'd like the commission to apply to.

NOTE: Changes to commission and tax settings will only apply to new invoices, existing invoices are not impacted.
