How do I manage client reviews?

Client reviews are important for the success of your business and individual reputation. They have the power to influence clients booking decisions and strengthen your credibility.

Send a review request

We'll automatically send a review request to clients as soon as their appointment has been checked out. Just make sure you have Thank You notifications enabled.

Alternatively, your clients can do the following: 

  1. Go to the Fresha app and select My appointments calendar_2.png to view their Past appointments
  2. Click the appointment they’d like to review.
  3. They'll be asked to leave a 5-star rating and any additional feedback they might have about your services.
  4. Click Submit my review to confirm.  

NOTE: Only clients who have made and completed a booking with your business can leave a rating or review.


Find your business reviews and rating

Any reviews left by your clients about the services you have performed with your current business will be displayed on your Fresha marketplace profile. These can also be viewed and managed under Clients. 

  1. Go to Clients and select Reviews
  2. You can view an overall business star rating and the breakdown of the collated ratings. 
  3. Reviews will be displayed in the order they have been submitted, with the most recent review or rating shown at the top.
  4. Use the filter filter.png to select a specific rating type and status for the reviews you’d like to review. 

  5. For each review, you can click on appointment to see which services the client received.

  6. To interact with a review, click on Reply

NOTE: Client reviews are available to view on the individual client profile. Just head to Clients, select the client profile you'd like to view and select Reviews. Any reviews left by the client will be displayed here.

PRO TIP: Clients can see each of the reviews they’ve left for the services they’ve received under the Past appointments section of My appointments.


Find personal reviews and rating

Keeping a record of reviews about you and the service you provide is essential for showcasing your achievements and capabilities. You can find all your reviews from your time with Fresha under Your Account

  1. Go to your profile picture on the top right of your Fresha account, and click Reviews. Here you will find a full list of reviews and ratings for services you have performed. If you have worked at more than one workspace on Fresha, this list will include the history of all the reviews you have received for all workspaces.

  2. You can view an overall star rating and the breakdown of the collated ratings, across all the workspaces you have been a part of. 

  3. Use the filter filter.png to select a specific workspace and rating type for the reviews you’d like to review. 

  4. The workspace and service will show at the top of the review. To access the specific appointment details, click on the service. 

  5. To interact with a review, click on Reply. You can only reply to reviews from the workspace where you’re currently connected.

NOTE: The overall rating shown in Your Account reflects your score counting reviews across all the workspaces you have been a part of at Fresha. Your review rating in your current business’ workspace (for example on the team member list, or the customer-facing marketplace profile) reflects your score only counting reviews in that workspace.


Find reviews from specific clients

You can view a client’s reviews through their client feed. 

  1. Go to Clients and select Clients list. 
  2. Search or select the client whose reviews you'd like to view.
  3. Click Activity and use the filter in the top-right to select Reviews.
  4. Here, you can view a full history of all reviews made by this client about your business.

Remove or update a review

Clients have up to 30 days after their appointment has taken place, to remove or update a review.

  1. To remove or update a review, the client can do the following:

  2. Go to the Fresha app and select My appointments to view Past appointments. 

  3. Choose which appointment they’d like to make changes to.

  4. Click on the three dots three_dots.png next to the review and select Edit review or Remove review:

  • Edit review - make changes to your rating and comment and click Continue to confirm.

  • Remove review - Click Remove to delete the review permanently.

NOTE: Partners cannot remove or update reviews left by their clients.


Set up a review summary

Set up a regular email summary of your reviews and ratings:

  1. Go to the top right of your Fresha account and click on the Notification bell icon.

  2. Select the Reviews tab. 

  3. Click on the settings icon.

  4. Scroll down to Ratings and Reviews and select the checkbox next to Activity summary email.

Choose whether you want to receive Daily or Weekly emails summarising your reviews and ratings during that time.
